What type of products do you make/offer?
- Gayle creates enamel pins, stickers, and accessories inspired by food, animals, anime, and pop culture. Each piece is designed to add a little spark of happiness to your day! 🍩✨
Share your Maker Brand Story: How/why did you start?
- After 7 years in UI/UX Design, Gayle decided to follow her passion for art and launched TealTeacup Shop in 2018. By 2019, she went full-time, selling her work online and at conventions. When the pandemic hit in 2020, Gayle adapted by streaming on Twitch, connecting with fans, and sharing her creative process. With a supportive community, she’s continued to grow and create through platforms like Patreon and Kickstarter. 🌐🎨
What are your proudest achievements or milestones?
- From launching a successful Monthly Pin Club to crowdfunding new enamel pin series, each milestone has been a joy! One of Gayle’s biggest achievements has been growing a loyal fanbase who eagerly supports her new projects and collections. 🎉
Have you faced any challenges and how did you overcome them?
- With conventions shut down in 2020, Gayle faced the challenge of reaching fans in new ways. She embraced Twitch streaming, where she shares her design process and connects live with followers. This pivot allowed her to keep building her community and explore new creative possibilities!
What are your future plans for being a Maker?
- Gayle has big plans! Look out for new projects, including ITA bags and enamel pin displays, plus exclusive Monthly Pin Club designs. TealTeacup Shop is here to keep creating cuteness and sharing joy with the world! 🌈💫
